Logical reasoning tests

Tests for logical thinking allow you to evaluate a person's ability to reason - to make logical conclusions that correspond to patterns known in logic. Logical thinking is a very important ability of our mind, which allows us to draw correct conclusions about existing things and phenomena, using previously acquired knowledge. The tests that you will find here will allow you to check how developed your ability to think logically is. Currently, there are three interactive online tests for logical thinking, along with links to the passage and a full description of the logic tests.

Compasses from the logical thinking test

Test of logical thinking according to the method "Compasses":

The purpose of this test is to determine the abilities for spatial representation, that is, the ability to imagine objects in space in your imagination, change their relative position and size, the distance between them, and so on. The Compass Logic Test is also used to assess logical thinking, since it requires making logical conclusions when determining the cardinal points, which is indicated by a compass needle with a randomly located mark on the scale. After clicking on the link to the beginning of the specified test, you will be taken to a page with 25 (in arcade mode) or 50 (in standard mode) compasses, each compass is a circle with a dash directed to a specific cardinal direction indicated next to it, and an arrow inside the circle , directed to the cardinal direction, which you need to determine and select the corresponding inscription from the bottom of each compass. The duration of the test is 5 minutes (2.5 minutes for the arcade mode), during which you should determine and mark the direction of as many compasses as possible.

Picture for the test Complex analogies

Test according to the method "Complex analogies":

The test according to the method "Complex analogies" is a form with 20 pairs of words between which there is a certain relationship. Each of these links is analogous to the link between one of the six pairs of words in the cipher. The subject's task is to determine this connection and mark next to the pairs of words in the task the letter or numeric designation of the corresponding pair of words from the cipher (for the standard version) or the pair of words from the cipher itself (for the simplified version), which has exactly the same connection - namely - exaggeration, synonym, antonym, set, definition or causation. The time to solve the problems is three minutes, after which you will be redirected to the page with the results of the passed logic test. If you finish earlier, click the "Finish" button. When passing the standard version of the test, you should be especially careful. It is noteworthy that a large number of errors in solving this test may indicate a false understanding of the analogies of logical connections, illogical reasoning, spreading thoughts and other problems of logical thinking mentioned in the full description of the test.

Picture for the test Quantitative relations

Test of logical thinking according to the method "Quantitative relations":

The Quantity Relationship Logic Test requires a person to solve 18 simple logic problems with three unknowns (A, B, and C), and determine the quantitative relationship between A and C, knowing the quantitative relationships between A and B, and between B and C. Then is, A can be more or less than B by a certain number of times, and B, in turn, less or more than a certain number of times than the unknown C. By simple logical reasoning, the subject should determine whether the unknown A is a greater or lesser number in relation to the unknown number С, and put the sign ">" between A and С greater than or "<" less. The test time is 5 minutes. If you complete the tasks earlier, click the "Finish" button. The norm for an adult is considered to be the correct solution of 10 or more problems. Test your logical thinking skills with this test completely free of charge by clicking on the links you see below
