Emotional Variation of the Stroop Test

In the emotional Stroop test, instead of color words, emotionally significant words are used. Research shows that people process words that evoke strong emotions or are related to personal experiences more slowly.

For example, a person with anxiety may slow down when seeing words: "danger", "fear", "panic".

This test will be useful for individual diagnostics - searching and evaluating personal emotional triggers - words that cause your brain to experience temporary hesitation when determining their color, or in professional practice for assessing psychological triggers of your clients.
