Test by the method "Memory for numbers"
The test according to the "Memory for numbers" method allows you to evaluate the capabilities of a person's short-term visual memory, including the volume and accuracy of visual memory. This test is widely used among psychologists and is used when applying for a job for some types of positions that require a person to have good abilities to remember information. The subject is required to memorize within 20 seconds as many numbers as possible from the 12 two-digit numbers presented after the start of the test.
After clicking on the link "Take the test of short-term memory for numbers" you will be taken to a page with a table of 12 numbers that you should memorize within 20 seconds. At the end of this time, you will be taken to a page with a form of 12 input fields, in which you should enter the memorized numbers without necessarily following the order in which these numbers were presented in the test, then click on the "Finish" button to go to the page with the results test.
Calculation of results
The result is calculated from the number of correctly reproduced numbers from memory. The norm for an adult is memorization of 7 and above numbers. In addition, this test allows you to make a more precise assessment of the capabilities of short-term visual memory when reproducing numbers in the order in the input fields in which they were presented. Also in the future, registered users will have access to comparative data on the ability of short-term memory against all the results of passing this test.
