Developing Affirmations for Children

Before offering the practice of affirmations to children, one should answer the question: how safe is their use for children in general? Well, repeating positive statements is less dangerous than learning your child new words and gaining new knowledge. The purpose of affirmations is to set up your children for positive thoughts, to help them instill in themselves positive attitudes to the development of their personality, and to motivate them to real actions. Try to offer your children the practice of repeating the proposed affirmations in the order of the game, as Evelyn Lim, the author of the self-development blog, does. Make small cards, each with one affirmation. Let them draw out one card and read out the affirmations written on them. Discuss with them the meaning of these affirmations, what they mean, and whether this or that statement is true. Choose the safest and most beneficial positive statements for your child and help him improve his personality by developing his habit of regularly repeating affirmations. I wish you success!
