Writing Positive Affirmations, Rules

Make affirmationsPositive affirmations is one of the most powerful tool for achieving the desired results, repetition of statements on a regular basis can help you to create what you really want, regardless of the scale of your goals. Thanks to the regular repetition of statements, millions of people have already implemented and continue to fulfill their most cherished dreams, and are convinced of the effectiveness of this wonderful tool again and again. They are ordinary people, and like you, they have their own beliefs, their own worldview, their own unique life experience, and yet they get what they want, which means that you too can successfully use the statements in your own life. However, in order for your statements to really have power, you need to learn how to create them correctly. It is not enough simply to express your desire with the words "I want ...", such a formula most likely will not work. Repeating the phrase: "I want ...", you again remind yourself of the lack of the desired thing and, perhaps, even repel the result. How to be? Just follow the rules for creating the affirmations that I will give in this article.

As it was written above, the creation of statements requires observance of certain important rules, the main ones of which can be expressed by a single definition of the word "affirmations", which reads: "Affirmations - positive statements are repeated regularly until the result". The key words here are "positive" and "statements". What does it mean?

Affirmations are not a request addressed to God or the Universe, this is the statement that you have what you want. You say, for example: "I freely communicate with strangers", although in fact you absolutely do not know how to talk with someone you do not know. With yours, you declare to the universe and yourself that you can do this and do it freely, without feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed. You do not need to think that you are deceiving yourself, it's just a trick, no more, designed to draw your attention to your desire and create in your head an image that corresponds to your desire. From the article "How affirmations work" you will find out why this is so important

Positive: affirmations are statements aimed at achieving the desired result, rather than eliminating what you do not want. Let's say you want to improve your financial situation, but there are too many problems in your life that constantly require money, and, as a result, you are forced to "make ends meet". It would be logical to write such a statement as: "I no longer have problems," and hope that soon these problems will disappear. But such an assertion will not only not work, but it will probably add to your problems a couple of other troubles. Remember: positive statements should not contain negations and undesirable things for you, but you must assert only those things that you want to achieve.

Before starting the analysis of the rules, I suggest that you familiarize yourself with examples of correctly composed affirmations:

  • "Every day I become more confident in myself"

  • "Day by day my body becomes slimmer"

  • "I always have a lot of money"

The above examples of affirmations answer the following questions:

  • Who wants to realize dreams?

  • What is the purpose of desire?

  • When should this happen?

Let's consider these issues in more detail:

Who is it talking about? The subject of desire - is you personally, and only you because we can not force thoughts to affect the lives of others. "I", but some authors suggest making positive statements, both from the first and from the second and third person.

  • 1. Affirmations from the first person (the kind of affirmations that is most popular):
    • "I am successfully completing any business I started"
    • "Only good thoughts visit me"
    • "I like to always be in the spotlight"

  • 2. Affirmations from the second person (self-hypnosis, are best suited for recording audio and listening to it on a regular basis):
    • "You are always confident in yourself"
    • "You like living in this beautiful world"
    • "You always have a good mood"

  • 3. Affirmations from a third party (less popular, but quite effective affirmations, which can also be recorded on audio for listening):
    • (Name) perfectly copes with its tasks"
    • "There are great opportunities for (Name)"
    • "(Name) easily learns the exact sciences"

If you are new to developing and applying statements, I recommend that you begin with practice in preparing and applying first-person statements, and only after the appearance of the first positive results can you go to other forms of affirmations. Although, if the statements from a second or third person, like you more, and it "resonate" with your personality, you can simply apply them.

What is the object of desire? Before you start making statements, decide what you really want. This is very important, because the desires of other people, inspired by others, and not corresponding to your true desires, are more difficult to achieve. With all of your being, on a subconscious level, you undermine the process of achieving someone else's goal built into you. Make sure that you really want to achieve what you want, and only after that start making statements for yourself.

When is the desire to be realized? Effective affirmations express your desires in the present tense and only in the present tense. It is completely useless to use the phrases: "Soon I will become a rich man" or: "I will more confidently communicate with other people" as statements, they will not bring you closer to the goal. Follow the rules of affirmations. These phrases should be transformed into statements such as: "I am already rich" or: "I am confidently communicating with other people." This is one of the most important conditions for the work of affirmations.

Based on the above provisions, you can easily start creating your own statements that will help you achieve your goals. It's not as difficult as it might seem at the beginning, just practice writing assertions on a particular topic, and in a short time, you will learn how to do it. Try to be as specific as possible in what you want to achieve with statements, observe the brevity so that your statements can be easily remembered. Repeat them from memory in any free time. In the article "Recommendations for preparing affirmations" you will find several ideas for the preparation of effective statements. If you do not have time to write your own statements or for some reason you can not make your own positive statements, you can choose any affirmations that you like from those listed in the "Affirmations List" section. I wish you success!
